NSW Department of Transport - Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme
Information about the Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme administered by the New South Wales Ministry of Transport.
NSW Isolated Patients’ Travel & Accommodation Assistance Scheme
The NSW Isolated Patients’ Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme (IPTAAS) is designed to improve access to specialist medical treatment and oral surgical health care for people living in isolated and remote communities in NSW, through the provision of some financial assistance towards actual travel and accommodation costs. NSW IPTAAS provides some assistance with these costs where you need to travel more than 200km (one way) from where you usually live to obtain specialist medical treatment not available locally. Certain categories of patients who are financially disadvantaged may be eligible for assistance for travel of 180 kms one way and 150kms one way. Other living away from home expenses (eg. meals) are not reimbursed.
NSW Roads & Traffic Authority Mobility Parking Scheme
The Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) provides parking concessions to people with mobility disabilities.
Program of Appliances for Disabled People (PADP)
The role of PADP is to assist eligible residents of NSW who have a life-long or long-term disability to live and participate within their community by the provision of appropriate equipment, aids and appliances.
