Dr Mary Westbrook AM
is a psychologist. Before her retirement from the University of
Sydney she taught students in many health professions about the
psychological and social aspects of disability and health care.
Mary published the first Australian research investigating the late
effects of polio and how polio survivors were coping with these
new problems. She has presented these findings at Australian and
International Conferences. Mary contracted polio when she was eleven
and now uses a wheelchair due to polio's late effects. She has been
an active member of the Network since its beginning. |
Mary usually replies to email enquiries within
48 hours of receipt. If you do not receive a reply within a reasonable time,
please send your message again. Alternatively, you can always write to her
care of our Office at North Parramatta.
